Dallah Hospital acts as a referral laboratory for partner labs. We built the platform that connects them: partner labs create shipments and print barcodes for every container, Dallah’s reception scans samples in, accepted orders flow to the laboratory information system, results return as PDF reports with alerts, and finance builds claims and invoices per lab.
- Partner laboratories send patient samples to Dallah for testing, and every shipment has to arrive with the right tube for each test.
- Missing, damaged or rejected samples were hard to trace back to the lab and the patient they came from.
- Urgent tests had to stand out from routine work.
- Accepted orders had to reach Dallah’s laboratory information system, and results had to find their way back to the lab that ordered them.
- Each partner lab is billed at its own prices, so claims had to be built per lab and per period.
One shared platform with two sides: a portal for partner labs and a console for Dallah’s own teams.
Partner labs build a shipment test by test. The platform works out the containers and ice packs it needs, then prints a barcode for the shipment and for every container.
Dallah’s reception scans each container in: accepted by default, rejected with a reason, or flagged as not received.
Accepted orders go to the laboratory information system, and results come back as PDF reports, with alerts to the lab that ordered them.
