Overview

We built the World Giftedness Center’s public website: a bilingual (Arabic and English), CMS-driven platform that brings the centre’s programmes and resources to a global audience, and that the centre’s team updates without technical skills.

The challenge
  • The World Giftedness Center needed one public website for two brands, its own and the GTM mentoring programme, in Arabic and English.
  • The site is the centre’s main window to its programmes, awards, publications, conferences and resources, so the team had to be able to manage content easily.
  • Visitors arrive on fast and slow connections and on different browsers, and pages had to load quickly for all of them.
  • Accessibility mattered, with WCAG 2.0 AA as the target.
  • GTM mentors and mentees needed a signed-in space alongside the public pages.
Our approach
01

A headless CMS behind a bilingual front end, so the centre’s team creates, schedules and rolls back content itself, with training for back-office operators.

02

One site for two brands: the centre’s content organised around its work, and GTM given its own section with a member dashboard for mentors and mentees.

03

Discovery, wireframes and design, then agile sprints with QA after each one, a beta and a release candidate before launch, followed by monthly maintenance.

04

A test plan for every release: desktop and mobile browsers, load, performance and security, Arabic and English localisation, usability and regression, with all critical and high defects fixed before acceptance testing.
