Chaccour Agricultural Company has been a pioneer in agriculture since 1919. We built its Android app as a complete directory of the company’s agricultural materials. Farmers pick their interests, from field crops and fruit trees to beekeeping and irrigation, then browse products with full technical information, follow fertilisation programmes for each crop, get timely agricultural advice and news, contact the sales representative closest to them and search for jobs at the company.
- Chaccour Agricultural Company supplies a wide range of farm inputs, from fertilisers, pesticides and seeds to irrigation equipment, and each product comes with technical details that farmers need.
- Its customers farm very different things, from field crops and fruit trees to beekeeping and livestock, so a single catalogue for everyone does not serve them well.
- Fertilisation depends on the crop and the growth stage, and farmers need a practical programme for each.
- New products, advice and field days only help when they reach farmers on time, and farmers need a direct line to the sales representative in their area.
Arabic throughout with a right-to-left layout, and a sign-up that records the farmer’s profession, governorate and region.
Onboarding asks each farmer to choose at least three interests, so the app can show the information that concerns them.
The home screen brings together the latest products, the most-visited fertilisation programmes and the latest news, each with a See all link.
Five tabs keep everything one tap away: home, products, news, job search and the fertilisation guide.
