Kuality AI partnered with the Hamdan Foundation to launch GTM 2.0, a smart mentoring platform that connects gifted youth with mentors through secure, data-driven engagement, with progress tracking and reports for every mentoring pair.
- GTM is the Hamdan Foundation’s flagship mentoring programme in STEMM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine), pairing mentees with experienced mentors around the world.
- The previous platform ran on a legacy Drupal CMS with fragmented databases, which limited its scalability and user experience and left it out of step with modern standards.
- The existing data had to move across to the new platform.
- Mentees, mentors and administrators each needed their own view of goals, progress and activity.
- Personal data had to be handled in line with GDPR, and the platform had to meet WCAG 2.1 for accessibility.
A modular, scalable rebuild on .NET Core with the ABP framework, and an Angular front end built with CoreUI.
Databases consolidated on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3 and CloudWatch), with auto-scaling, disaster recovery and encryption in transit and at rest.
Role-based access for each user group, GDPR compliance, WCAG 2.1 accessibility and mobile-optimised layouts.
Functional, security, performance, automated regression and acceptance testing, followed by training, documentation and 12 months of maintenance.
